Copy and paste this code into the file ".htaccess".

Code:
<IfModule mod_expires.c>
## MS EXPIRES HEADER CACHING ##
ExpiresActive On
ExpiresByType image/jpg "access 1 year"
ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access 1 year"
ExpiresByType image/gif "access 1 year"
ExpiresByType image/png "access 1 year"
ExpiresByType text/css "access 1 month"
ExpiresByType application/pdf "access 1 month"
ExpiresByType application/javascript "access 1 month"
ExpiresByType application/x-javascript "access 1 month"
ExpiresByType application/x-shockwave-flash "access 1 month"
ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access 1 year"
ExpiresDefault "access 2 days"
## EXPIRES HEADER CACHING ##
</IfModule>
The ".htaccess" file is located at the root of your installation.
Proceed as follows:

  1. Connected to your server via FTP (you can use)
  2. Open the ".htaccess" file
  3. Paste the code shown above immediately after "# END WordPress", like this example
ms-chache-load-htaccess.png
ms-cache-load.png

Save the file, enjoy!
